The AICPA Not for Profit Conference is quickly approaching. This is an annual event where you'll get a comprehensive update for the coming year, and the industry’s top experts will answer your questions and provide insight and perspective from key thought leaders. There will also be ample opportunity to collaborate with your industry peers and discover the best financial management strategies to fit your organization’s needs and mission.

This year’s event is June 15-17—“Fostering Collaborative Success”—and is at a new venue, the Gaylord National Harbor Resort, in National Harbor, Maryland. The event is structured around tracks that include:

  • Accounting & Auditing
  • Tax
  • Management/Specialized Knowledge (CGMA)
  • Yellow Book and Single Audit

This year’s conference will also include expanded interactive and “unplugged” sessions on niche topics, as well as ‘ask the experts’ panels and learning lab sessions in the exhibit hall. If you can’t make it to the DC area for the conference, you can attend all session remotely—in real time.

If you will be attending the conference, be sure to stop by booth 200 to visit the Intacct NFP Team. Intacct and Intacct partners will be onsite throughout the conference. Intacct is the AICPAs only preferred provider for cloud financial management.

In addition, Intacct will be presenting a Learning Lab Session on Outcome Measures—The Metrics That Matter for Nonprofit Organizations. The session is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10:15 in the Exhibit Hall. We’ll be talking about all things related to nonprofit outcome measures and metrics. With an increasingly challenging funding environment, Nonprofits - regardless of size or mission - must be able to objectively validate, quantify and report the outcomes of their activities. Outcome Measures are rapidly taking hold within nonprofit organizations as the way to demonstrate success to donors and key stakeholders. In our session we’ll cover some key elements related to Outcome Measures, like:

  • What Are They?
  • Why Do I Need Them?
  • Who’s Keeping Track?
  • Performance vs Outcomes
  • Getting Started
  • Technology that Helps
