Intacct offers two official partner certifications – Intacct Accounting Specialist and Intacct Implementation Specialist. Maintaining a partner certification program is very important to Intacct. Our goal is to make it so that when a customer selects Intacct, whether they are working directly with Intacct, or with an Intacct partner, the customer receives the same great level of service and knowledge from any member of their team.
Certification programs are also an efficient avenue for Intacct to share our organizational best practices and disseminate this information in a succinct and consistent manner. Intacct offers these training classes and exams as a fantastic way for partners to hone their skills and set themselves apart from other partners who may not have yet completed the certifications.
The Intacct Implementation Specialist certification and the Intacct Accounting Specialist Certification are open to both our value-added reseller (VAR) and Intacct Accountants Program partners. The Intacct Education team has developed a thorough curriculum, training, and testing program for these certifications. There are specific training courses which are required for certification, as well as additional self-paced learning sessions that staff can take as quick references to specific processes.
These certifications are granted to individuals who pass the exam(s) and help differentiate those users who have mastered performing accounting transactions in Intacct. The material also introduces VARs to the Partner Console, covers provisioning Intacct for VARs, and instructs on working in multi-entity shared environments.
To date, more than 400 partner team members have received certification. In addition, the entire Intacct professional services team is required to pass the exams.
A number of Intacct partners have ensured that their entire team has completed their Intacct certifications. Most recently, we were thrilled to learn that the entire team at MicroAccounting is now Intacct certified. Congratulations!
Existing partners can contact their account manager for additional details on getting certified. To learn more about becoming an Intacct Partner, please visit https://us.intacct.com/become-partner.
