SAN JOSE, Calif. – July 22, 2015 – Intacct, a leading provider of best-in-class cloud ERP software, and AcctTwo, a leading consulting firm and Intacct’s 2014 Partner of the Year, today announced that Professional Testing, Inc. switched from NetSuite to Intacct in order to benefit from multi-entity reporting capabilities, improved flexibility, greater ease-of-use, and a lower total cost of ownership. Working with AcctTwo to migrate key businesses processes to Intacct and integrate the ERP system with other best-in-class applications, the growing services company will reduce consulting expenses and increase the productivity of its finance team, while gaining deeper visibility into their business.
Professional Testing, Inc. provides assessment and evaluation services to businesses and associations around the world, operating as three unique consolidated entities with separate reporting needs. "After using NetSuite for more than a decade, we grew tired of hidden costs from the ongoing customizations it required in order to meet our unique needs, and we finally decided to look elsewhere for an ERP system that was more adaptable,” said Maria Gonzalez, CFO at Professional Testing, Inc. AcctTwo is helping the company to extend Intacct by seamlessly integrating specialized applications such as Nexonia for time and expenses, AmeriFlex for workforce management, and 2C Processor for merchant accounts and portals. Now, data from these systems will automatically flow into Intacct to enable Professional Testing, Inc. to eliminate manual data re-entry and allow them to gain a full picture of company performance.
Intacct’s intuitive reporting and dashboard capabilities will also make it easy to generate cash flow projections and comparison reports right in the financial system, eliminating massive excel worksheets and other manual work-arounds the finance team was forced to build for project accounting and budget-to-actuals in NetSuite. These capabilities will save them a full day of report preparation each month, streamline the annual budgeting process dramatically, and provide faster, more granular visibility into key business drivers. In addition, Professional Testing, Inc. expects Intacct to save at least another few days of time spent on revenue recognition processes, as well as merchant transaction and credit card reconciliations.
