Sage Intacct Executive Named to List of Top Channel Chiefs
Taylor Macdonald Recognized by CRN for Driving Rapid Growth and Outstanding Channel Success at Sage Intacct
SAN JOSE, Calif. – February 14, 2018 – Sage Intacct, the innovation and customer satisfaction leader in cloud financial management solutions, today announced that Taylor Macdonald, Sage Intacct’s Senior Vice President of Channel Sales, has once again been named to CRN’s prestigious list of Top Channel Chiefs for 2018. The executives on this annual list represent top leaders in the IT channel who excel at driving growth and revenue in their organization through channel partners.
Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2018 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.
Taylor has more than 25 years of experience building and operating some of the largest and most successful channel programs in the world for financial and ERP software providers. At Sage Intacct, Macdonald is responsible for managing the Sage Intacct Value Added Reseller (VAR) and CPA channel initiatives, and has played a vital role in growing Sage Intacct’s channel program since its inception.
Sage Intacct’s Partner program is designed to foster a network of partners that deliver comprehensive, high quality services, support, and software to help companies get maximum value from their Sage Intacct investment. The Sage Intacct Partner Program has attracted the cream of the crop, boasting 31 of the Top 100 CPA firms and 30 of the Top 100 VARs in the industry – the most of any cloud financial management software provider. During 2017, the program added 31 new VAR partners and 45 new IAP partners, while turning away six to seven times as many firms that didn’t make the cut.
“The executives on CRN’s 2018 Channel Chiefs list stand out for their exceptional leadership, vision and commitment to the channel,” said Robert Faletra, Executive Chairman of The Channel Company. “These individuals deserve special recognition for their development and support of robust partner programs, innovative business strategy and significant contribution to the overall health of a vigorously growing channel. We applaud each Channel Chief’s impressive record of accomplishments and look forward to their future successes.”
“Sage Intacct is committed to the continued success and record growth of our partners and we look forward to seeing our joint customers benefit from this program for many years to come,” said Robert Reid, Managing Director and EVP of Sage Intacct. “Taylor and his team embody this commitment, as they have built a channel program that is exclusive to the best of the best—leaders who build, support, and deliver superior partner programs and strategy.”
The 2018 CRN Channel Chiefs list, including the 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs, is featured online at www.crn.com/channelchiefs and will appear in the February 2018 issue of CRN.
